FCA Baltimore Braveheart Volleyball

It is such a blessing to be able to work with the girls in the FCA Baltimore Bravehearts volleyball program!  We rep Christ through volleyball – can it get any better than that?  The Lord saved me by His grace when I was 47, and got me into volleyball about 15 years before that, so I can look back now and see how He has prepared me for a time such as this.  I started my volleyball coaching in 2001 as an assistant coach with the boys 12s club team at Yorktowne Volleyball in York PA.  I continued as a sometimes assistant, sometimes head coach with Yorktowne boys teams of various ages through 2008, and had the opportunity to go to USAV Boys Nationals a few times.  Since 2010 I’ve coached either a 12s or 13s girls team with Carroll Viper Volleyball Club (CVVC), and helped out with a few others.  I also have some high school coaching experience, beginning with the JV team at Francis Scott Key in 2010, and most recently -- before coming to the FCA Bravehearts -- as the head coach of the Varsity and JV teams at Mt. Airy Christian Academy (MACA) in 2012 and 2013.  I have certifications through USAV’s IMPACT training, and also through the AAU/Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) training program.  All of which greatly pales, of course, to knowing Christ.  So I’m here to share my faith with the girls, along with some volleyball, all for His glory.  And as I said earlier, can it get any better than that?
